This policy explains how LKP Recruitment ("we", "us") collects and uses personal data when you use lkprecruitment.co.uk or our recruitment services. Who we are

LKP Recruitment is the data controller for personal data submitted through this website. You can contact us about any privacy matter at info@lkprecruitment.co.uk.

Information we collect

• Candidates: name, email, phone number, postcode or area, employment status and history, experience, the role and hours you want, shift availability, driving licence and transport, qualifications (including FLT licences), availability date, any extra information you choose to give us, and your CV.
• Employers: company name, contact name and job title, business email and telephone, company location and details of the roles you need filling.
• Enquiries: details you send through our contact form.

Please do not include sensitive information (such as health details, religion or criminal records) in your CV or messages unless we specifically ask for it.

How we use your information

• To assess your suitability for permanent roles and contact you about relevant vacancies
• To introduce suitable candidates to employers, with your agreement, before your details are shared for a specific role
• To understand an employer's staffing needs and provide our recruitment service
• To respond to enquiries and keep records of our communications
• To meet our legal and regulatory obligations, including the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003

Lawful basis

We rely on your consent when you submit a form, our legitimate interests in providing recruitment services, steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and compliance with legal obligations. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing info@lkprecruitment.co.uk.

Who we share it with

We share candidate details only with prospective employers for roles you have agreed to be put forward for. We use trusted service providers to host this website, store data and send email; they act only on our instructions. We never sell your data. We may disclose information where required by law.

How we protect it

Your information is stored securely. CVs are held in private storage and can only be accessed by authorised LKP Recruitment staff after signing in. Data is stored in the UK or EEA, or with appropriate safeguards where held elsewhere.

How long we keep it

We keep candidate records for up to two years from our last meaningful contact with you, and employer enquiry records for up to six years for legal and accounting purposes, unless you ask us to delete them sooner (where we are able to).

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your data, to object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any right, email info@lkprecruitment.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113).
